On March 8 2019, our first day in Perak, we started our first activity of caving at Gua Tempurung in Gopeng, Perak. Gua Tempurung is one of the famous 'batu kapur' caves in Peninsular Malaysia other than Gua Kelam in Perlis. Gua Tempurung which are more than 3 km long are the longest ' batu kapur' caves in Malaysia. At 1200, we have arrived at the Gua Tempurung. Once we were there, we transferred our belongings to our camping area. After that, we gather for briefing on safety, commands and procedures for about 20 minutes. Then, the adventure begins.
